The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire named Eileen Earnest as its new Queen Elizabeth I after a six-month search. The event will run in Manheim on Saturdays and Sundays from Aug. 15 through Oct. 25 (Earnest has played roles including a wailing banshee).
Philadelphia's FIFA Fan Festival runs daily through July 19 and draws fans from around the world to celebrate the World Cup and U.S. Men's National Team, with a local watch party scheduled for Lancaster today. Organizers have worked on the event for three years to bring the community together.
