- ➤ Verizon customers in the Susquehanna Valley experienced widespread connection issues yesterday; Verizon's team (working nonstop) restored service to some while others continued to struggle as the carrier promised account credits and further updates. WGAL
- ➤ Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware and Susquehanna Valley announced that the 37th Annual Mother’s Day Truck Convoy will take place on Saturday, May 9, starting at the Manheim Auto Auction in Lancaster County at 1:30 p.m. The new 33-mile route includes safety measures (only drivers with wish kids will return). - ➤ Noodles & Company announced on Monday, Jan. 12 that it will close 30 to 35 more restaurants in 2026 after shuttering 42 locations in 2025. The chain is narrowing its footprint to focus on higher-performing sites, and Pennsylvania outlets including Lancaster may be affected. Daily Voice
