- ➤ Lawmakers are asking the White House to extend passport services past Friday after the State Department ruled against the practice. - ➤ Drivers using Route 30 will face lane restrictions for an inspection of the Wrights Ferry bridge from Feb. 18-20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Officials will test the bridge's safety between Columbia and Hellam Township. PennLive
- ➤ Attorney General Dave Sunday warned veterans during National Salute to Veteran Patients Week (today) to avoid claim predators who charge high fees and pressure them into signing unfavorable contracts for VA benefit claims. - ➤ USDA (it monitors local outbreaks) reported that over 60,000 birds at two Lancaster County commercial meat production farms were affected by Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza, adding to over 2.3 million birds affected this year.
