- ➤ Warmer weather has led to several ice sculptures being dismantled for safety at the Lititz Fire & Ice Festival at Lititz Springs Park—organizers removed displays like Mickey Mouse as wind and sun weakened the ice. The 10-day festival runs from Feb. 13 through Feb. 22. Local 21 News

- ➤ The Manheim Township School District board placed superintendent Dr. Pate-Hefty on administrative leave on Wednesday. She began her role in July 2025 and previously led Whitewater Unified (the board has not provided additional details). Local 21 News

- ➤ The Pennsylvania DEP has issued a code orange air quality alert for Lancaster, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lebanon, and York counties as fine particle pollution increased overnight and is expected to worsen today due to a temperature inversion.
