  • Jay and Carolyn Buffenmyer of Palmyra are dismantling their 56-year model train display and donating proceeds to Brittany's Hope to help children in third-world areas. The basement display, which features detailed replicas of places they visited, is ending as Jay's dementia accelerates + the couple chooses to preserve treasured memories.  WGAL
  • On Feb. 27, family and friends cut into the nearly 200-year-old Sign Post Tree at the Hoffman Farm in Mount Joy to free a rusty metal sign from its bark, but the reveal showed nothing — the mystery remains and local memories endure.  WGAL

  • After a month with Amish families in Lancaster County on TLC's Suddenly Amish, upstate New York native Billie Jo Heffron chose to embrace the Amish lifestyle with hard work and simple living. She now seeks a community that welcomes both her + fellow contestant Judah.  Local 21 News
  • Bluey's Big Play — The Stage Show will run at Hershey Theatre on July 25–26, 2026 and feature a 45-minute family performance with larger-than-life puppets and original music inspired by the hit series. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m.  WGAL
  • Prima Theatre in Lancaster is preparing to reopen after New Year's flood damage — repairs include a cleaned patterned floor, replaced carpet and restored curtains. Rehearsals for the new show will begin at the end of this month.  WGAL

  • Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital hosted its fifth annual Light Up the Night event Tuesday evening. About 100 vehicles from over 65 organizations — including police, EMS, fire agencies, towing companies, the Turnpike Commission and the Game Commission — flashed lights to lift the spirits of patients and families.  WGAL
