- ➤ A 1-year-old girl died Saturday, March 15 after being struck by a forklift at a private residence on a farming property in Leola — the Lancaster County coroner's office ruled her death accidental. PennLive
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Lancaster Police said they are looking for 18-year-old Kyzhera Weaver and her infant after Lancaster County Children and Youth were granted custody of the child on March 14th, and they believe the pair could be in the Hanover area—if anyone has information, call Lancaster County dispatch at 717-664-1180. - ➤ The Lancaster County Coroner's Office released its report on a baby boy found buried last year on Village Square Drive in Marietta, stating his death was due to premature fetal death at 20 weeks and 6 days—police had executed a search warrant after noting disturbed soil in East Donegal Township. - ➤ A Lancaster man, 58-year-old Frank Monte, faces first-degree murder charges for killing Tina Ruby on Jan 14 in Mecklenburg County, Va, was arrested last month, and also faces gun and drug charges with a review hearing set for April 14. WGAL

- ➤ Lancaster police will provide an update today on their use-of-force review of a video showing officers stopping bicyclists for lacking proper lighting and reflectors (a decision made after safety concerns were raised).
