  • Jennifer Arasin escaped a fire in her apartment on Monday after her service dog Mona jumped on her bed multiple times to alert her of red flames outside on the 500 block of Twin County Road in Caernarvon Township; although most of her home was destroyed, Arasin remains grateful that Mona saved her life.  WGAL

  • Lancaster police arrested 19-year-old Kyzhera Weaver Thursday for failing to surrender her 2-month-old daughter to Children and Youth Services—who confirmed the baby was safe Tuesday at a York County home—and she now faces charges for interfering with custody and endangering the welfare of children after allegedly assaulting a man.  WGAL
  • Organizers launched a fundraiser to help Lancaster County farmers after livestock shootings on Saturday, March 15 left four cows dead and a horse injured when gunshots hit two farms seven miles apart—police have not identified any suspects and are asking for tips.  Daily Voice
  • Michael Choma, aged 45, from Mount Joy is accused of trafficking women into commercial sex, selling drugs and raping them from 2017 to 2021 — authorities said he posted online ads to lure vulnerable individuals.  Local 21 News
  • A fundraiser has been set up for farmers whose animals were shot in Lancaster County on March 15—Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the shootings near School House Road and South Vintage Road while local friends seek to help cover vet bills and replace lost livestock.  Local 21 News
