  • A Berks County goat farmer faces charges after livestreaming an at-home c-section without proper care, which killed the mother goat while the baby survived; a local veterinarian said the method was inhumane and questioned why professional help was not consulted.  Local 21 News

  • Lancaster teacher Tania Turner used TikTok and GoFundMe to raise over $9,075 in two-and-a-half days after a canceled Hersheypark field trip left her eighth-grade class at Wheatland Middle School disappointed. With tickets purchased, the trip is set, showing strong community support.  WGAL

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • Legal proceedings at J&K Salvage continue after the DEP order stopped waste processing and the court rejected an injunction from the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeepers (the facility argues that staying open supports environmental safety and local jobs following a recent fire).  WGAL
