- ➤ On Thursday morning, a child was hit by a vehicle at 7:33 a.m. on the 700-block of South Fourth Street near Middle School Drive in Denver Borough close to Denver Elementary School and Cocalico Middle School, and the child was taken to hospital while police investigate and the vehicle remained at the scene. - ➤ A 31-year-old man was charged with abuse of a corpse after police found his 61-year-old mother's body in her SUV outside a home in Penn Township — officials ruled her death a homicide caused by strangulation. Daily Voice
- ➤ U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will issue a detainer for 32-year-old Youshimatz Alegria-Diaz—a Coatesville man pulled over on March 22 on Route 30 east for not using his turn signal who was later found to have an active Interpol warrant for homicide and charged as a fugitive from justice while held in Lancaster County Prison. - ➤ A routine traffic stop on Route 30 in Manheim Township led police to arrest 32-year-old Youshimatz Alegria Diaz from Coatesville when his Mexican driver’s license revealed an active Interpol warrant for homicide—ICE confirmed they would issue a detainer and he was taken into custody and committed to Lancaster County Prison.
