ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • One person was taken to hospital after crashing their vehicle into a pole on Lincoln Highway at Clayton Avenue in Lancaster County Saturday evening (injuries remain unknown).  WGAL
  • A vehicle crashed into a wall at Bender Avenue and Manor Avenue in Millersville Saturday evening, sending one person to the hospital (the extent of injuries remains unknown).  WGAL
  • A vehicle strike damaged the historic 195-foot covered bridge on Ashville Road in Little Britain Township—used by about 1,000 vehicles daily and built in 1884—and forced its closure while state officials work on detour and repair plans to reconnect Lancaster and Chester counties.  PennLive

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Just Press Play will open its new 22,000 square foot retail and event space at the former Volleyball Corner location on 2007 Lincoln Highway East in East Lampeter Township near Dutch Wonderland and Tanger Outlets in May. The video game store will close its Lancaster Shopping Center location on Sunday, April 6.  PennLive

CRIME NEWS

  • Police say two teens (ages 15 and 16) stole food and drinks on several occasions from the Penn Manor High School cafeteria in Millersville and were charged with retail theft on March 27.  Local 21 News

HEALTH NEWS

  • Nutritional Fundamentals for Health recalled 17,660 bottles of dietary supplements containing iron after tests showed their packaging did not meet child safety standards and could cause poisoning if swallowed by young children. The products were sold at naturopathic and homeopathic clinics and online between March 2022 and December 2024 and no injuries were reported (replacement bottles with child-resistant packaging have been offered) (lot and expiration codes appear on the bottles).  Daily Voice
