  • Lancaster County-based Taylor Chip announced last week that it was closing all its locations after a hack of its Facebook page, but owner Sara Taylor said the company has received national orders + overwhelming support and may offer special flavor drops for special occasions in the future.  WGAL

  • New data show that more young men attend church—reversing trends that once saw higher female participation. Local leaders say this shift began after pandemic isolation as young people search for deeper meaning in community.  FOX43

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Overnight, Pennsylvania's average gas price rose to $4.15, with Lancaster County at $4.14 and other local areas showing similar increases amid global supply concerns + pressure on fuel markets.  WGAL

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Ephrata will reintroduce a pay-to-park system downtown this month after a year of free two-hour parking. ParkMobile kiosks at eight locations will let drivers pay by app or cash, with the first hour free then $0.50 every 30 minutes — officials say a grace period will allow drivers to adjust before enforcement begins.  WGAL
  • A Lancaster County fire department has received a $25,000 donation from Slaymaker Rentals and Slaymaker Electric Motor and Supply for its Blue Rock Firehouse Project — a $10 million plan to build a modern firehouse for over 100 volunteer firefighters serving Manor Township, Millersville Borough and surrounding areas.  FOX43
  • Sen. Marty Flynn introduced a bill that would let the PIAA set separate playoff classifications for public+private high schools to fix competitive imbalances; the proposal was referred to the Education Committee.  WGAL

HEALTH NEWS

  • Wawa recalled several 16-ounce drinks (lemon iced tea, diet versions, lemonade, and fruit punch) after a temporary equipment issue may have introduced a milk allergen. The affected bottles were removed from local stores, and customers are offered refunds as gift cards.  Daily Voice
