ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Lancaster police are investigating two bicyclist accidents that occurred Saturday, April 5—one at the intersection of E. Chestnut and N. Shippen around 8:30 p.m. where an unresponsive man with a serious head injury was taken to hospital after riding the wrong way, and another at Hershey Avenue and Wabank where a man on an e-bike without activated lights suffered a fractured leg—with charges pending in both cases. - ➤ A Lancaster County man was found guilty Tuesday of voluntary manslaughter for killing his wife, Maryann Bagenstone (who disappeared from their Pequea Township home on June 5, 1984) as evidence showed he dug a grave-shaped hole in his garage and gave conflicting reasons for his actions. - ➤ Lancaster city police arrested three men at Binns and Ewell Park around 1:20 p.m. Saturday after officers on patrol saw an alleged drug deal amid recent overdose concerns — one man was charged with controlled substance possession, another with possession with intent to deliver and drug paraphernalia, and a third with tampering with evidence.
