- ➤ Lancaster County elections worker April Wefler (33) was found dead by the Susquehanna River from freshwater drowning, and county officials held a moment of silence at a public meeting on Wednesday to honor her service as a supervisor in the elections department. PennLive

- ➤ Police, fire and EMS responded to an active police incident on Stone Mill Road and Redwood Drive in Manor Township just before noon—officials secured the area and advised residents to shelter in place. WGAL
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today, the PA Department of Environmental Protection and Lancaster Clean Water Partners gathered at the Blue Green Connector Project to celebrate an ongoing restoration of Little Conestoga Creek that includes a state investment ($4 million) to reduce pollution and improve flood resiliency. The project, led by the Little Conestoga Creek Foundation and the Steinman Foundation, will also offer environmental education and recreational opportunities. WDAC
