- ➤ The 20th annual YWCA Race Against Racism was held last Saturday in York and Lancaster, with over 3,000 participants running a 5K course through Historic Lancaster and families enjoying a Kids Fun Run. Proceeds supported YWCA initiatives to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace + inclusion. WGAL
- ➤ Main Line Animal Rescue in Phoenixville is hosting a pop-up adoption event today after rescuing 93 animals from a Lancaster County home, and it will waive adoption fees for any animal in its care for over 60 days (space is limited). WGAL
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ PennDOT maintenance crews will clean up litter along routes 283, 222, 30 and 462 starting Monday, April 27, during daylight hours across Lancaster County. Motorists are advised to remain alert around workers and vehicles near the interstate mainline and ramps. WGAL

- ➤ French Broad Chocolates PBC is recalling its Bette’s Bake Sale Bonbon Collection because a label error misidentified walnuts and could endanger those with allergies. The recall covers boxes sold online and in Asheville stores from April 14 to April 20 (including PA), and customers are urged to return them for a refund. Daily Voice
