ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Police responded to a two-vehicle crash at Horseshoe Road and Willow Road Saturday evening — one person remained trapped in a vehicle and an ambulance was called — as Horseshoe Road was closed between Willow Road and Jarvis Road.  WGAL
  • A house on the 300 block of Millway Road in Lancaster was fully engulfed in flames after a fire started around 10:40 p.m. Saturday—no injuries were reported.  WGAL

CRIME NEWS

  • Lancaster City police are responding to a stabbing on West Strawberry Street around 6:25 p.m.—officials have not yet confirmed the number of injuries.  WGAL
  • An Ephrata man, 30, was charged with raping a girl under 13 in Warwick Township from January 2010 to 2012 after she told police in December 2024 plus he waived his preliminary hearing on April 2nd and now faces charges for child rape, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault of a child and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child.  Local 21 News
  • Kerry Binns, a 69-year-old from New York, allegedly punched a nursing assistant at Ephrata Manor Nursing Home on April 28 around 10:30 p.m.—police say he later turned himself in, and he faces a Felony Aggravated Assault charge with bail set at $20,000.  Daily Voice
