- ➤ Donations to help over 90 animals rescued from a Lancaster County home last month were delivered Monday. West Hempfield Fire and Rescue brought more than 2,000 pounds of food, treats, toys, and supplies to the Pennsylvania SPCA in Philadelphia and Main Line Animal Rescue, where animals remain available for adoption. - ➤ Lancaster-based Fulton Bank acquired Blue Foundry Bank in Rutherford, New Jersey. Blue Foundry will operate as a separate subsidiary until it merges with Fulton Bank in the summer & Fulton will donate $1.5 million for local nonprofits. PennLive

- ➤ The Thaddeus Stevens and Lydia Hamilton Smith Center for History and Democracy officially opened today at 13-15 East Vine Street, with Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology loaning original artifacts to honor his legacy. College President Pedro Rivera said the center will provide a welcoming space for diverse community members. Local 21 News

- ➤ The Lancaster school board approved a final furlough plan that cuts 44 positions and reassigns 45 teachers to new roles — a change aimed at addressing a budget shortfall. The changes take effect June 30 with recall rights for furloughed staff. Local 21 News

- ➤ Monroe Township’s Ashcombe Farms and Greenhouse opposes a proposed data center project planned on West Granthan Road and Williams Grove Road in Cumberland County — the business said the project may harm local animal habitats and community life, and it will voice concerns at a public meeting on June 11.
