  • Garden Spot Fire Rescue in Lancaster will host its 60-year flower sale offering over 700 types of blooms on Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.—the funds will go toward a new set of essential firefighting gear.  WGAL

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Early Tuesday morning, crashes in Manheim, Eden, and Rapho Townships injured several people—emergency crews freed trapped individuals and closed roads at each scene.  Local 21 News
  • A two-vehicle crash at East Main Street and South Chiques Road in Rapho Township around 4:20 a.m. Tuesday left one person trapped in a vehicle and taken to a hospital—later, a separate crash in Manheim Township also trapped a person, with both sites cleared and under investigation.  WGAL
  • One person remains trapped after a vehicle crashed into a tree at Valley and Fiddlers Green roads in Manheim Township at 5:09 a.m. Tuesday—fire police have closed the road and are directing traffic while the police investigate.  WGAL

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • An EF0 tornado touched down in East Cocalico Township on Sunday — it damaged three sheds and two homes while Sky View 21 flew over the area on Monday to capture the damage.  Local 21 News
