  • On Sunday evening, a crash on East Walnut Street near Highway 30 injured at least four people and closed the road in Lancaster County+ officials have not yet determined the cause or full extent of the injuries.  WGAL
  • Former Penn State football player Julian Fleming — who was not wearing safety equipment — was seriously injured in an ATV crash on Painter Lick Lane in Columbia Township on May 23 when his vehicle struck a deer, killing his girlfriend Alyssa Boyd.  Daily Voice
  • Penryn Fire Company responded to a garage fire on the 200 block of Elm Road in Penn Township Sunday around 9 p.m.—the fire was brought under control and no injuries were reported.  WGAL

CRIME NEWS

  • Kevin Ahn, 31, was charged in Lancaster County with abusing his mother’s corpse and faces murder charges in Maryland – his bail was set at $350,000 by Judge Merrill M. Spahn after prosecutors requested $5 million – and he remains in Lancaster County Prison.  PennLive
  • Family members visiting Riverview Burial Park discovered that vases were stolen from veterans' graves at both Riverview Burial Park and Conestoga Memorial Park plus Ace Hardware manager Derek Webb decided to give away free flags with purchases every Saturday before Memorial Day to honor their service.  WGAL
