- ➤ A Good Samaritan rescued a kitten from a storm drain over the weekend and delivered it to a caring family in Lancaster County. The rescued pet now enjoys a safe home in the community. Local 21 News
- ➤ Car lovers and military supporters attended a car show on Sunday at Prince Street Garage on Millersville University’s campus to support Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania’s Tiny Homes Program. The program has built 15 tiny homes in the past two years to help veterans facing homelessness. WGAL
- ➤ Central PA communities held Memorial Day parades and ceremonies yesterday, with several events adjusted for inclement weather in towns like Carlisle and Chambersburg. In Lancaster, the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War will host their 158th Memorial Day service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Lancaster Cemetery. FOX43
