- ➤ On Memorial Day a fire at Regal Cinemas on Millersville Pike started from an electrical malfunction of an exit sign and forced about 50 patrons to evacuate—fire crews cleared the scene by 3:14 p.m. and offered refunds to customers. Local 21 News

- ➤ Rite Aid announced a bankruptcy filing that included its store at 1786-I Columbia Ave in West Hempfield Township near Columbia for closure as part of a plan to sell pharmacy assets to CVS, Walgreens and other retailers.
