- ➤ Lawmakers introduced two bills yesterday to address long-ignored zombie mines that threaten water quality, health, and local economies. The legislation, developed with support from Appalachian Citizens Law Center (and Appalachian Voices), would require coal companies to pay for cleanup. WGAL
