- ➤ Michael McDonald admitted shaking his two-month-old son Mikey on two separate occasions on Parkview Drive—causing severe brain injuries, multiple fractured ribs, and retinal hemorrhaging—and he now faces charges of child endangerment and aggravated assault while Mikey receives care at Penn State Health Children's Hospital. - ➤ On Tuesday, a Lancaster County man accused of cutting his dog's leg off with scissors was arrested in Kirkwood for animal abuse— a rescue in Chester County is caring for the injured labradoodle as it begins to recover. Local 21 News
- ➤ Lancaster County man Jason Sauder, 44, pleaded guilty to killing 87-year-old Sarah Zimmerman in a DUI crash when he ran a stop sign at West 28th Division Highway and Pumping Station Road in Elizabeth Township in March 2023—he was sentenced to three to six years in prison and must pay over $10,000 in restitution.
