- ➤ A pickup truck flipped onto its roof near the Route 462/Wrightsville exit in Hellam Township around 9:35 a.m.—blocking all lanes on Route 30 eastbound between the Route 462/Wrightsville and Route 441/Columbia/Marietta exits—and causing severe traffic delays; the Hellam Township Police Department is investigating. - ➤ A horse and buggy was struck by a vehicle on Sunday morning in the 800 block of West Main Street/Route 322 in Ephrata Borough—firefighters stated the buggy overturned on its side and escorted the horse and its owner to safety while no one was hurt. WGAL
- ➤ An unoccupied home at 15 Spring House Road in the Village of Bausman caught fire on Sunday morning in Lancaster Township, causing an estimated $75,000 in damage when flames from a second-floor bathroom spread while firefighters kept the blaze mostly contained—no one was hurt as the state police fire marshal investigates the cause.
