- ➤ The Raven Ridge Wildlife Center in Lancaster County warns the public that lanternfly tape may harm birds after a female cardinal became entangled around a tree and lost its tail feathers — the injured bird is now being cared for until its feathers regrow. The center said tape can trap beneficial insects and attract hawks — and it recommends using circle traps, homemade soap sprays, or garden hose barriers instead. Local 21 News

- ➤ HB 1549 proposed a tiered minimum wage increase that would raise wages to $15 an hour in Philadelphia and to $11, $13, and $15 an hour in counties including Lancaster—linking increases to annual cost-of-living adjustments and ending exemptions for small businesses with fewer than 10 employees.
