CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police in Manheim Township are searching for a man accused of stealing over $1,000 worth of meat and seafood from Wegman's on 2000 Crossings Boulevard just before midnight Monday—he reportedly left in a white Ford Explorer. Local 21 News
- ➤ Michael McDonald from Providence Township was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of endangering the welfare of children when he reportedly shook his two-month-old baby (causing a severe brain injury at his Parkview Street residence in May) and his case will proceed to county court while he remains in Lancaster County Prison on $150,000 bail. - ➤ John James Riley, a 20-year-old from York Township, pleaded guilty on Tuesday, June 17 to secretly recording over 1,000 videos of women undressing in a Franklin & Marshall College dorm room from September to November, 2023—and he now faces counts of intercepting communications, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of an instrument of crime with intent, and invasion of privacy after a 90-day presentence investigation.
