- ➤ Lancaster County police are searching for a missing man, Tika Pyakurel, 68, who was last seen on Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. along Abbeyville Road in Lancaster Township—officials worry he may be at risk and ask anyone with information to call Lancaster Township Police at 717-892-5873. WGAL
- ➤ Brandon Shearer, a 33 year old man from Mount Joy Township, waived his preliminary hearing as his court case for hitting and killing 72 year old John Zimmerman early on August 29th moves forward with charges including accidents involving death or personal injury, tampering with physical evidence and two summary traffic offenses. - ➤ Lancaster County man Jordan Antonio Ortiz pleaded guilty to misdemeanor simple assault connected to charges before his wife Kylee Carroll Ortiz's death and was sentenced to probation on June 10—he will welcome a baby in July with his new partner Samantha Lynn Marrero. Daily Voice

- ➤ Lancaster County tax collector Jill Cordan is suing East Cocalico Township officials for alleged discrimination because she is gay and for retaliation after she complained about a hostile work environment. - ➤ The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture advised residents in Lancaster, Dauphin, Lebanon and Berks counties to discard Meadow View Jerseys raw milk sold since April 1 due to a Campylobacter finding — the milk, with sell-by dates between April 15 and July 8, was sold in glass and plastic half-gallon containers at several locations including a farm store in Leola — to prevent potential illness.
