- ➤ Zhong Ren (44) of Brooklyn is accused of stealing $555K in gold bars from an elderly woman in Lancaster County by posing as a federal agent, with police saying the scam occurred during two home visits in April and led to his arrest on July 10; he now faces charges of theft and criminal conspiracy.
