- ➤ A plane with a landing gear issue circled Lancaster Airport on Thursday morning and landed safely—Manheim Township Police said they did not know the type of plane or how many people were aboard. WGAL
- ➤ Two people were trapped after a crash at the intersection of Schoeneck and Indiantown roads in West Cocalico Township (Thursday evening) and emergency crews rescued them, though their injuries remain unknown. WGAL
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police arrested 55-year-old Timothy Costello from Bainbridge on June 20 after a search in Conoy Township found metals valued at more than $2,000 reported stolen from Lancaster, Dauphin and York counties — he faces a felony count for receiving stolen property and two misdemeanor counts while his bail is set at $100,000. - ➤ A Lancaster County man from New Holland pleaded guilty on July 10 to charges of sexually assaulting a minor between 2015 and 2017 and of attempting to lure a teenager on Facebook in January 2024—officials said he was sentenced to up to 20 years in state prison. Daily Voice
