- ➤ A roadway is closed on the 2000 block of Rockvale Road near Strasburg Pike in East Lampeter Township after a large piece of equipment overturned in a crash around 10 a.m. Saturday—one person was taken to the hospital while the cause remains unconfirmed. WGAL

- ➤ Lancaster City police investigated multiple gunfire incidents late Friday night when officers found shell casings and bullet impacts on vehicles and homes in the 400 block of S. Christian Street after a 10 p.m. call, and 20 minutes later a home in the 1200 block of Union Street was hit—no injuries were reported. Local 21 News
- ➤ Carroll Township Police are asking for help to find a suspect in a scam at Pin Oak Mobile Home Community on July 17 between 1 and 3:30 p.m. when a suspect took a large amount of cash from an older victim’s home; she is described as a heavy-set black female with dyed 'fire engine' red hair seen driving a maroon sedan—residents are urged to check their home cameras. - ➤ Culture journalists Kase Wickman, Joanna Weiss, and Moira McAvoy will release a 192-page book titled Taylor Swift: Album by Album on Tuesday, Oct. 7 that looks at all 11 of her albums from her 2006 start to The Tortured Poets Department and explains how the West Reading native grew as a songwriter.
