- ➤ The Lancaster community celebrated Hispanic culture at the San Juan Bautista Hispanic Festival held Wednesday evening at the local church where visitors enjoyed local music and food. This 33rd annual four-day event continues through Saturday night — raising funds for church programs. FOX43
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Seven local police agencies have joined ICE through a 287(g) agreement that lets officers enforce immigration laws by questioning immigration status and processing paperwork—this group includes forces from Lancaster, Dauphin, Franklin, and Juniata counties and critics say the program may harm community trust. Local officials say the effort is meant to better address crimes that cross state lines. FOX43
- ➤ PennDOT fixed the loud noise on the Horseshoe Road bridge in East Lampeter Township on Tuesday, easing the worries of local residents like the Knier family who live two blocks away.
