- ➤ A tractor-trailer and a silver vehicle collided on the Route 30 westbound exit ramp near Centerville Road in East Hempfield Township Monday at 12:14 p.m. causing one person to be transported to a hospital — the local police are investigating the crash and delays continue in the area. WGAL
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Liberty County man Nicholas Kassotis, accused of killing his wife Mindi in fall 2022 and fleeing to Lancaster, appeared in court Thursday where prosecutors said her body was found in four pieces — a detail that the court deemed strictly forensic — and his trial is scheduled to begin on August 4 — with at least 35 witnesses expected —. - ➤ The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania is building a 16,000 sq. ft. roundhouse in Strasburg to shelter six historic locomotives that have been exposed to the elements for over 50 years—crews have already worked for two months and plan to finish by late 2026 or early 2027. The new structure will connect to a renovated 1928 turntable to help preserve the aging engines. WGAL
