- ➤ A man died Tuesday night after jumping from The Exchange rooftop restaurant on top of the Lancaster Marriott Hotel in downtown Lancaster — dispatchers reported the incident at 8:49 p.m. with first responders finding him already deceased. PennLive
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A 24-year-old man from Newmanstown is facing attempted homicide charges after police said he fired a stolen gun during a family fight on North Shippen Street in Lancaster but found the weapon was not loaded — no one was hurt. Local 21 News
- ➤ A 32-year-old man from Akron jumped from The Exchange rooftop bar on E. King Street on July 29th and was pronounced dead at 9:40 p.m.—authorities ruled his death a suicide. Local 21 News
- ➤ Grace Louise Sensenig and Daryl Jay Sensenig were arrested after police found they forced a juvenile to live in a shed with no water or indoor bathroom, starved him, and assaulted him when he refused to return, with his preliminary hearing set for Aug. 13—he has since been placed with extended family.
