- ➤ Ephrata police arrested Lancaster County residents Daryl and Grace Sensenig on child endangerment charges after their 16‑year‑old son called for help during a domestic dispute and said he had been forced to live in a shed with no running water and a makeshift restroom since mid‑March on the 800 block of Laurel Ridge Road in West Cocalico Township — he is now safe with extended family as the case remains under investigation. - ➤ Lancaster City is reviewing a plan to convert nine downtown one-way streets to two-way roads to improve pedestrian safety (the study has received over 900 community responses in three days and aims for a public meeting this fall with changes finalized by spring 2026). City transportation planner Emma Hamme said the project, part of Vision Zero Lancaster, seeks to reduce speeding and enhance access for pedestrians and cyclists. Local 21 News
