- ➤ State police and a dive team responded to a report of a missing child and possible drowning in Fulton Township at a private pond (near Herr Drive and Peach Bottom Road) just after 3 p.m. on Sunday. WGAL
- ➤ Lancaster County father John Weaver was injured on July 6th in an e-scooter accident that left him with a brain injury, 7 broken ribs, a broken collarbone, a broken shoulder blade, and skull fractures as his fiancée Kim Minnich searched for him and called the police and Newville began enforcing stricter scooter rules (to help prevent further accidents). - ➤ A 26-year-old Lancaster man, Zachary M. Bernhardt, impersonated a police officer in Central Park on July 23 and threatened parkgoers with citations when his badge number was questioned—he has been charged with misdemeanor impersonating a public servant and his preliminary hearing is pending. - ➤ At 5:39 p.m. yesterday, officers responded to a collision at the Fruitville Pike and South Oak Street intersection in Penn Township—where a car and a motorcycle collided—leaving one rider dead and another hospitalized. Daily Voice
- ➤ Margaret Christel, a 34-year-old from Falls Church, Virginia, was charged with felony financial exploitation after police say she altered checks to steal nearly $50,000 from her elderly relative in Willow Street between December 2023 and March 2025—she turned herself in on July 25 and was released on bail.
