- ➤ Ephrata police arrested 18-year-old Joshua Kone in connection with a burglary at Musser’s Outdoors on May 2 at around 4:40 a.m. — 11 guns were reported stolen and five have been recovered — as Kone admitted his involvement and authorities continue to investigate other suspects. Local 21 News
- ➤ Fares Farhat, a suspended mechanic from Halifax doing business as A+ Auto Inspections, was arrested on Aug. 4 and charged with 81 felonies for faking over 150 inspections and selling counterfeit stickers—PennDOT workers and state police uncovered his scheme after finding dangerous trucks with worn brake pads.
