- ➤ A 6-year-old boy died in a farming accident in Paradise Township on Thursday when a 14-year-old operator lowered the skid steer arms as the child tried to exit near Cherry Hill Road (3:30 p.m.) and he later died after being taken to Lancaster General Hospital (state troopers said). - ➤ Traffic backed up on Route 30 near the Wrightsville exit in Hellam Township after a crash blocked the eastbound left lane and right shoulder at 8:30 a.m. Friday — emergency crews are at the scene and one lane is open for slow-moving vehicles as details remain unknown. WGAL
- ➤ A vehicle struck a guardrail on Marietta Avenue/Route 23 near Long Lane in East Donegal Township around 9:45 a.m. Friday — emergency crews and fire police responded while the road was shut down, and the Susquehanna Regional Police are investigating. WGAL
