The Lancaster Conservancy has opened a new half-mile hiking trail through a restored 26-acre meadow and woodlands at Safe Harbor Nature Preserve in Conestoga, offering visitors up-close views of pollinators, birds, and small mammals + the project is part of a long-term habitat restoration effort that began in 2019.
🏥 Health
Lancaster County Commissioner Josh Parsons said Gov. Josh Shapiro and the Department of Health misled the public about two measles-associated deaths+ the county coroner confirmed one infant death involved a lacerated spleen, prompting Parsons to call for more details.

Mifflin when a false gunman alarm halted the game early, new head coaches steered Donegal and Manheim Central to wins, and Columbia celebrated its 500th victory while Lebanon continued a record losing streak in a dramatic clash across campus.
