ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Traffic was blocked on State Route 722 after a crash occurred in Lancaster County Friday morning near State Route 283—crews were dispatched at 6 a.m. and no injuries were reported. WGAL
- ➤ Northern Lancaster County Regional Police said that Warwick Township teen Will Fenninger, 16, died after crashing his e-bike into a minivan near 70 Church Street on Aug. 28 when he left a nearby park—police noted that the 17-year-old minivan driver was taken to a hospital for evaluation and released as the investigation continues. - ➤ The coroner identified Dennis Kimmick, 52, from Columbia Borough as the man killed when he lost control of his motorcycle on a curve on South Chiques Road in East Hempfield Township just before 9:30 p.m. on September 2+ he was riding without a helmet, police said. WGAL
- ➤ At 4:17 a.m., firefighters in Drumore Township quickly put out a brushfire on the 2200 block of Bald Eagle Road—finishing by 4:48 a.m. with no injuries reported. FOX43

- ➤ Lancaster County business owner Daryl Heller from Lititz was indicted on fraud charges for running an alleged Ponzi scheme that cost investors $402 million—federal officials say he used money from new investors to pay earlier ones and cover business debts while he faces up to 100 years in prison if convicted. - ➤ Lancaster City Bureau of Police identified Troy Putt, 58, who was seen on May 25 and again on August 9 trying to have sexual contact with a dog and now faces charges of indecent exposure and open lewdness—community tips were key to the investigation. Local 21 News
