- ➤ Residents in Bent Creek in Manheim Township have seen a large pig on a local golf course and in lawns — Lancaster Farm Sanctuary says it is likely a dumped pet — during recent days. Residents have left food and water — apples and bananas — and recorded video as they wait for the animal to be secured for rescue by the sanctuary. WGAL

- ➤ Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity announced the launch of OpenBookPA, a new transparency portal that gives people easier access to state spending details. The upgraded platform will offer a refreshed dashboard, local resources and enhanced charts — helping Lancaster residents better understand how tax dollars are used. WGAL

- ➤ York Revolution and Lancaster Stormers have released their 2026 schedules that will start with the War of the Roses Series on April 21 when York will host Lancaster.
