Good morning, Lancaster.

Local college students at Millersville University and other campuses reacted to the fatal shooting of political activist Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University Tuesday—many said they felt unsafe and stressed that debates should not turn violent—while the FBI searches for a suspect.

Today, the School District of Lancaster said it is handling a personnel matter privately after an employee was dismissed for reposting a statement following Charlie Kirk's fatal shooting.

The district said it abhors violence — and it remains committed to student safety and education.
