ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Joe Williams recounted his pain after a police officer informed him at 2:00 a.m. that his high school basketball star son died in a fatal crash near their East Donegal Township home during homecoming weekend — leaving him to cope with the loss.  Local 21 News

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Calico Brands is recalling about 175,000 Scripto Premium Torches—sold at Walmart and Home Depot nationwide from November 2024 to August 2025—for failing to meet safety standards and posing a risk of serious burns. Customers are urged to stop using the torches and return them for a full refund or store credit.  Daily Voice

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Route 30/222 interchange in Manheim Township reopened at 1 p.m. Sunday after a bridge repair that started Friday at 9 p.m.—the old bridge carrying eastbound Route 30 to northbound Route 222 was demolished and replaced, a PennDOT spokesperson said.  WGAL
