- ➤ At Lititz's annual Empty Bowls Dinner, money was raised to support the Warwick Community Chest that provides food to those in need in the Warwick School District. The event raised between $12,000 and $17,000 (all proceeds including the silent auction went to the Chest) and saw hundreds of local residents buying tickets while local artists donated handmade bowls. - ➤ Crate and Barrel is recalling 54,930 Ana Dining Chairs sold in the US and 3,160 sold in Canada—reports say defective legs may break and cause falls. Consumers should stop using the chairs immediately as the retailer will pick them up and replace them at no cost. Daily Voice

- ➤ Lancaster residents will soon see the Full Beaver Moon, the biggest and brightest full moon in 2025, with peak illumination at 8:19 a.m. ET on Nov. 5 and best views on Tuesday, Nov. 4 and Wednesday, Nov. 5 as it rises after sunset. The supermoon will appear about 7% larger and 16% brighter than a normal full moon (and it will be the closest full moon this year at 221,817 miles) while a meteor shower is expected to light the sky.
