- ➤ The Lancaster Amtrak station unveiled a modern, accessible platform after a 10-month reconstruction, and the first train arrived Friday morning ahead of the busy Thanksgiving travel season—Amtrak is working with PennDOT on a pedestrian bridge extension set to connect the station to a new parking lot opening around November.
