- ➤ East Lampeter Township police are seeking three suspects who allegedly cashed fraudulent checks valued over $1,900 at a grocery store on Route 30 East in Lancaster County, with two suspects using Honduran photo identification and a third turned away—anyone with tips is asked to call 717-291-4676. - ➤ Lancaster police said Thursday a man was hospitalized after a shooting near South Water and West Strawberry streets — a suspect was taken into custody and may be linked to another shooting on South Prince Street on Wednesday evening. WGAL

- ➤ Retired Manheim Township police officer Dave Bair, known for his steady leadership, passed away at 60 on July 10 after serving from 1989 to 2014, leaving a lasting mark on his colleagues and community.
